Laurence Dunmore (RSA London) recently enlisted CherryCherry to create this 75 second KFC commercial featuring Christiano Ronaldo. Our hero was filmed in studio, requiring a segment of the Santiago Bernabeu (Real Madrid) stadium to be recreated in 3D. Crowd simulations were used to fill the stadium with 36,000 animated, virtual spectators. Our London facility composited 90 shots in 2 weeks, mixing light effects, footage and CG elements to complete the illision of a live stadium environment.

CherryCherry was recently comissioned by 1000Volt to provide a number of visual effects for the feature film 'Butterfly's Dream', produced by BKM and directed by Yılmaz Erdoğan. CherryCherry supplied numerous digital set extensions (including 3D recreations of the towns of Zonguldak and Besiktas in the 1930's), matte paintings, particle effects, and even a virtual tennis match! Shortlisted in the Antalya Film Festival, Turkey's biggest film event, Goodbye Katya is a new film by Director Osman Sonmez and starring Kadir Inanir. CherryCherry, creating VFX shots for Cinepark which required 3D elements, embarked upon the creation a full CG cargo boat for the film- undertaking all modelling, texturing, animation and compositing. Cloth and fluid simulations were also employed to help add the finishing touches and to bring more life into the shots.

CherryCherry was recently approached by New York based Director Fabien Dufils, to work alongside 8vfx, Mikros Image and The Mill New York, on Fabien's next challenging short film, Soldiers of Love. 

The film will be premiered in New York and Los Angeles at the beginning of next year.

Celebrating the rollout of 4G by EE in the UK, Drive Productions has once again called upon CherryCherry for a special, one-off projection mapping at London's landmark Battersea power Station. Ten CG artists- led by Tony Landais, created 3 minutes worth of content for the 4 minutes show. The 2D London team was lead and supervised by Nico Cotta, and the final comping was done in Flame.

Commercials Director James Brown takes us on a journey through a projected world with Eircom. CherryCherry was delighted to collaborate with James on two commercials (of 30 and 60 seconds length). The London team linked up a Flame and a Flare in order to be able to deliver the work within two weeks.

The annual AV Award for best live event of the year has been presented to Drive Productions, for it's ambitious, mega-scale Nokia Lumia 800 campaign. Still one of the biggest building projections ever, the one off show kicked off in grand style at London's Millbank tower with the first minute of visuals produced by CherryCherry and sounds supplied by SuperStar DJ Deadmau5.

Another great collaboration with Glassworks London, who sent over nothing less than 28000 frames from 3 different high speed Phantom cameras. Our task was to reproduce the motion of both cameras and boat to generate a smoother virtual camera animation for a seamless integration of the skippers and the CG environment.
